Students earn points each year of participation at the Libertyville Piano Festival, based on their rating. 1st Place rating earns 5 points, 2nd place rating earns 4 points and 3rd place rating earns 3 points. Once students accumulate a total of 15 points, they are awarded a 1st Trophy, and each subsequent accumulation of 15 points earns additional trophies.

NWSMTA Sonata-Sonatina Festival, November 5, 2017
Congratulations to all students that participated in the NWSMTA Sonata-Sonatina Festival on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Harper College. Gold Medal Winners were Maddy Aquino and William Dai. These students were invited to perform in the Gold Medal Winners Recital at the Barrington Library on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
Silver Medal Winners were Elena Fang, Alex Gou, Ellen Niu and Isabella Robieson.
NWSMTA Festival of Pianos at Northbrook Court on Sunday, September 24, 2017
The 24th annual Festival of Pianos was held at Northbrook Court. Students, family members, friends and teachers played together on 6 grand pianos provided by Steinway of Chicago during the weekend of September 23-24 while shoppers enjoyed ongoing ensemble performances all afternoon. Participating students were Beth Aquino, Maddy Aquino, Stephanie Aquino, Elena Fang, Alex Gou, Jenny Huang, Isabella Robieson, and Ethan Wang.
