Carolyne Im completed all requirements for AIM Level 12, concluding with a Level 12 Recital, presented on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Family Piano, Co. in Waukegan. Libertyville Piano Festival 1st Trophy earned in 2017
Students earn points each year of participation at the Libertyville Piano Festival, based on their rating. 1st Place rating earns 5 points, 2nd place rating earns 4 points and 3rd place rating earns 3 points. Once students accumulate a total of 15 points, they are awarded a 1st Trophy, and each subsequent accumulation of 15 points earns additional trophies.

Congratulations to all students that participated in the NWSMTA Sonata-Sonatina Festival on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Harper College. Gold Medal Winners were Michael Chen, Elena Fan, Alex Gou, Ellen Niu, Iris Niu, Isabella Robies and Maggie Yuan. These students were invited to perform in the Gold Medal Winners Recital at the Barrington Library on Saturday, November 12, 2016.

NWSMTA Festival of Pianos at Northbrook Court on Sunday, September 25, 2016
The 23rd annual Festival of Pianos was held at Northbrook Court. Students, family members, friends and teachers played together on 6 grand pianos provided by Steinway of Chicago during the weekend of September 24-25 while shoppers enjoyed ongoing ensemble peroformances all afternoon. Participating students were Beth Aquino, Maddy Aquino, Stephanie Aquino, Elena Fang, Alex Gou, Jenny Huang, Ellen Niu, Iris Niu, Isabella Robieson, Ethan Wang and Maggie Yuan.
